Art in Action is an educational program for working with teens and youth through visual research and photo projects.

The author and mentor of the program is an award-winning photographer, international journalist, TV producer and teacher, Olga Ingurazova. She uses decade of professional experience to work with young authors.

About 300 young people from Russia, Italy and Armenia have already participated.

With few cameras or simply smartphones they founded a city photo archive, filmed the European Football Championship, created a travel guide, and much more, by using only the basic photo/video skills.

Olga's author's methodology includes elements of classical and contemporary photography, visual arts, journalism, social pedagogy, communication, research, art therapy, project teamwork, and mentoring.

* Learning labs are organized to form the whole range of skills: hard skills, soft skills, and self skills.

Practical workshops are developed for each group of participants, depending on their interests, needs and local conditions. Olga helps young authors and local educators to make important decisions and guide the process of an adventure in real-life conditions. Young authors go through all stages of work on a visual project/series/collection together, gaining not only skills, but also meaningful experience.

The program acts in following directions:

- teach practical visual and communication skills for study, creativity, or future occupation
- establish personal connections with the local history and culture
- help youth to research and tell their own stories
- create conditions for actual practice side by side with a professional
share methods of working with local teachers in the field

* Once the work done, the participants present the result in one of the MODERN APPLICABLE FORMATS (curated photo exhibition, photo book, publication, screening, etc.)
